A strong wind warning remains in force for the Kadavu and Vatu-I-Ra
passages, Yasawa and Southwest Viti Levu waters.
Situation:
A trough of low pressure lies slow moving to the northeast and
continues to drift towards the group. Another trough of low pressure
is expected to gradually approach the group from the west later
Sunday. Associated cloud and showers are expected to affect the
country from later Sunday till the next few days. Meanwhile, an
easterly wind flow prevails over the Fiji waters.
Forecast to 6pm tomorrow for Fiji waters:
For Kadavu and Vatu-i-ra Passages, Yasawa and Southwest Viti Levu
waters:
Easterly winds 20 to 25 knots.
Rough seas.
Poor visibility in areas of heavy showers and thunderstorms.
Further outlook: Easterly winds 20 to 25 knots.
Rough seas.
Poor visibility in areas of heavy showers and thunderstorms.
For the rest of Fiji Waters:
Easterly winds 15 to 20 knots.
Moderate to rough seas.
Poor visibility in areas of heavy showers and thunderstorms.
