Situation: A weak trough of low pressure lies over the eastern parts of the country. Meanwhile, a moist northeasterly wind flow prevails over the country. Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group: Occasional showers, heavy at times and few thunderstorms over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra-Rakiraki, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands. Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low-lying and flood prone areas. Fine apart from afternoon or evening showers elsewhere.
